The music behind Vibro Yoga - A sound journey designed for your body

It started with a dream of sound

Behind Vibro Yoga is not only an innovative studio space - but also a personal vision.
Shamir, the founder of the studio, has had a passion for music and sound for years. Music production has long been a dream, and with the development of Vibro Yoga came a whole new opportunity:
Using sound not just to listen - but to feel.

After 6-8 months of intensive work on the construction of the studio itself, he suddenly had a technology... but without the musical key.
There wasn't just a "playlist" for a room with a vibrating floor, Dolby Atmos and low-frequency resonance.
Every sound had to be created from scratch. For the space. For the system. For the body.

A creative collaboration emerges

At the very beginning of the concept's launch, Shamir met a student and yoga participant named Emil Røning - a professional sound designer.
The two set to work testing. Listening. Experimenting.
Hours of sound editing, mixing, tweaking and fine-tuning - all with one goal:
To create sounds and vibrations that not only fill the room, but transform the body.

Texture of vibration: Deep, light, undulating

Vibration is not just one language - it has many nuances and layers.

  • Deep vibrations (20-60 Hz) provide a sense of grounding, emotional cleansing and relaxation in connective tissue

  • Lighter vibrations (60-120 Hz) calm the nervous system, activate gentle energy and help the body let go

The patterns can be:

  • Continuous (like breathing)

  • Pulsating (like a heartbeat)

  • Vibrating layer upon layer (like a dream you physically feel)

The sounds are designed according to the experience:
Do we want to awaken the body? Draw it into a meditative space? Or let it float into something that feels like an inner journey in the landscape of dreams?

The world of sound healing and frequencies

We draw on basic principles from sound therapy:

  • 40 Hz → used in research to support brain communication

  • 174 Hz → known for pain relief

  • 432 Hz → associated with balance and heart rhythm

  • 528 Hz → often called "miracle tone", used for emotional opening

  • Theta and Delta waves → used to induce deep meditation and sleep

But in Vibro Yoga, these frequencies are not only combined into sound - but as physical experiences in the floor.

🌀 Architecture of sound: Where do the vibrations come from?

An important challenge was: If the sounds are to be felt, where should the vibrations come from?
Here the technique became as important as the composition.
Every note, every second had to be connected to a physical experience - and sometimes we had to invent it ourselves.

We worked with configurations, hardware limitations and intense sound-to-body mapping.
We created our own "vibration textures" - precisely timed with the soundscape in the room.

🎬Dolby Atmos - Sound as experience

To make the experience immersive and three-dimensional, the entire studio was equipped with Dolby Atmos.
This means that sound doesn't just come from left and right - but all around. Above you. Behind you. Close to your body.

We use real, lifelike sounds:

  • Rain that drips gently

  • Children at play

  • Wind through the trees

  • Soundtracks that create the feeling of: "A spring in Tuscany", "A peaceful forest", "Life in the city", "A quiet train journey" or "A zoo full of laughter and life"

These environments are combined with designed vibration textures that give the body the experience of being at the center of a living narrative.

Music that the body feels - and the mind remembers

The audio in Vibro Yoga is not background music.
It's not Spotify playlists.
It's consciously created art, designed to activate your whole self - from skin to soul.

And we're still at it.
Every week we test new compositions, vibrations and ideas.
Because we believe in one thing:
