Videnskaben om Vibroakustisk Berøring / The Science of Vibroacoustic Touch
When we think of touch, we often imagine something physical - a hand on the shoulder, feet on the floor. But in the Vibro Yoga studio, touch happens on a deeper level.
Not skin to skin - but sound to cell.
Vibroacoustic touch occurs when low-frequency sound waves are sent through the floor and into the body. These waves travel gently through tissue and bone, affecting the nervous system, circulation and cellular communication, among other things.
How does it work?
The floor of the Vibro Yoga studio is equipped with vibroacoustic transducers - technology that transforms music and sound into tactile vibrations.
The vibrations are synchronized with carefully designed music in Dolby Atmos, turning the space into a sensory experience.
You don't just hear the sound - you feel it: in your spine, in your breathing, in your connective tissue.
A nervous system in balance
Research shows that low-frequency vibrations can activate the parasympathetic nervous system - the body's "rest and healing zone".
Vibroacoustic touch calms the vagus nerve, balances the heart rate and supports deeper breathing - all without effort.
In this state you are not doing yoga.
You are receiving yoga.
Touch at the cell level
Studies suggest that certain frequencies can stimulate cell communication, promote blood circulation and support the body's natural healing.
It's like a massage from the inside - without hands, but with sound.
The vibrations are especially beneficial for:
Stress or overload
Chronic tension
Circulation problems
Nerve imbalance
Why does it feel so different?
Many participants say: "I felt safe," or "I don't know what happened - but something let go."
That's because the vibrations bypass the head and speak directly to the body.
No performance. Just being.
