Yin Yoga & Vibration: A Deep Connection to Body and Soul
In a world where the pace is fast and postures often change quickly, Yin Yoga offers a quiet space to land in the body - and in yourself. When this practice is combined with low frequency vibrations, a whole new layer of depth, connection and healing opens up.
The wisdom of slowness
Yin Yoga is all about letting go. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, Yin focuses on passive stretches where you stay in postures for several minutes at a time. This gives the body time to work with connective tissue, joints and the deeper fascia - not to mention time to discover what's stirring beneath the surface.
Vibration as a support and amplifier
As low-frequency vibrations slowly pulse through the floor and body, it feels like a subtle massage from within. These vibrations work in symbiosis with the postures: helping the tissue to let go, calming the nervous system and opening up to a more receptive state - both physically and mentally.
Many find that the vibrations enhance the effect of the postures and make it easier to stay in them - even when discomfort arises. It's as if the body feels more supported and the mind more willing to give in.
A practice with deep impact
After a session of Yin Yoga and vibration, many feel not just relaxed, but cleansed. As if they've been stretched, massaged and reset from the inside.
Yin Yoga with vibration is especially effective for:
Increasing flexibility in deep layers
Reducing tension and stress
Promoting recovery
Connecting mind and body
A new way to experience silence
Silence is not always the absence of sound. In our studio, silence is experienced as a state where the body no longer cries out for attention and the mind is allowed to settle - carried by waves of sound, frequency and slow movement.
